Devon Smedley
Owner/C.E.O.
Spc., U.S. Army, retired
Devon grew up working at a plant nursery (where his mom still works). He has a degree in culinary arts, served our country in the United States Army as a Biomedical Technician until being medically retired in 2019 with 100% disability through the VA, and founded the farm in 2020.
Rebecca Smedley
C.F.O./Sales and Marketing/Artisan
Rebecca has a BA in ceramics and K-12 art education and a MFA in ceramics. She has 10 years of non-profit business experience at both the managerially and director level positions. She teaches adult and children art courses across East Tennessee and sells her farm to table inspired art at markets under Dust to Dust Studio when she isn't tending the farm.
Taevan Black
Operating Manager
Retired L.E.O.
Taevan comes from a long history of farmers and ranchers going back 8 generations. Before becoming a full-time farmer, he worked in law enforcement for nine years and owned a lube and automotive maintenance shop for an additional 6.5 years. His dedication and service to community is something he hopes to carry on through the farm.
